The Sky Buzzer is a fiber optic towed decoy that protects aircraft from radar guided threats. It features a built-in radio-frequency generator to provide different radar cross section in order to jam or deceive potential threats. There are retractable-only and recoverable versions of the Sky Buzzer towed decoy. The German Air Force has integrated this decoy system with the Tornado IDS and F-4 fighter aircraft. It is available for integration with Eurofighter-Typhoon's EuroDASS defensive system as well as other fighter aircraft and large body aircraft.
